Private photo session in Montreal!
What could be better than a visit to Old Montreal for a private photo session?
I had the pleasure of accompanying two friends through the streets of this charming neighbourhood and offering them a privileged photo opportunity.
Meet Emmanuelle & Mélanie
They are both French and financial analysts.
Emmanuelle has been living in Montreal for a few years now. I met her at the École des entrepreneurs du Québec where she co-founded a company, Oxia Initiative. Its mission is to » empower decision makers to measure their carbon footprint and take informed and efficient actions toward reduction of their environmental impact ».
Mélanie came to visit her friend for a few weeks, but she is already on her 4th visit here! As a child, she first came here during her holidays in Quebec with her parents.
In love with Montreal
Both of them love Montreal very much. While walking together in Old Montreal, we were impressed by the construction work that is taking place there. Particularly, in the western part of the neighbourhood. The towers will soon run along the entire Bonaventure city entrance.
» I love Montreal because it’s so cosmopolitan, » says Emmanuelle. » All the cultures of the world meet here, we travel thanks to the friends we make here. Mélanie and I like to go to the Atwater market, walk or bike along the Lachine Canal, or relax at » les tam-tams du mont Royal » or at La Fontaine Park. I also like the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal! All the artistic events that take place in the city all year round truly makes it a vibrant city. »
Mélanie is in town until mid-June. We hope to find another time before her departure to have a photo session in another part of the city.
To be continued!
